I was at work today and I came across a poster in one of the classrooms. It read “Monoplize Success!”
When I hear “monoplize success,” I think of a student holding a monopoly over all of the success in the classroom! What kind of message are we teaching our children by hanging posters that are basically saying “success must be a monopoly, held by only one person!”
